FAQ

What is the check-in and check-out time?

Check in time: 15:00 Check-in, not earlier than 15:00. Late check-in is allowed since keys are collected from key-lock. Check out time: 11:00 Check-out must be done before 11:00am. Late check-out, may be allowed depending on the availability of the apartment (if no other guest is expected that same day) and only after agreement with the host.

How many people can the apartment accommodate?

The apartment can receive up to 5 guests (+1 baby cot upon request). No more than 5 guests (over 3 years old) are allowed in the apartment. We reserve the right to terminate the reservation if you exceed this limit.

Is there parking available? If so, is it free?

You can park on the streets around the apartment. In general it is relatively easy to find parking in our neighbourhood.

Is there a kitchen and what appliances are available?

The kitchen is fully equipped including: stove, oven, refrigerator with freezer, grill toaster, filter coffee machine, nespresso machine, electric kettle, multi blender, electric juicer, pots, pans, dishes, glasses, mugs, silverware etc.

Are linens and towels provided?

Yes, linens and towels are provided. In the cupboard you will also find some colored towels you can take to the beach.

Are there laundry facilities available?

The apartment is equipped with a washing machine embedded in the wardrobe in the 1st floor. After washing them, you can dry your clothes on the drying rack on the 1st floor balcony.

What is the cancellation policy?

You will be fully refunded your payment when: you cancel your booking within 48 hours from it. you cancel your booking 14 days before check-in. No Show: In case of not checking-in on the arrival day, the guests must inform the host as soon as possible about the reason and when will they be checking in. In case of No Show and no communication with the host, the guests are not eligible of any king of refund and host can use the apartment for other last minute guests.

Are there any rules or restrictions I should be aware of?

No more than 5 guests (over 3 years old) are allowed in the apartment. Smoking is NOT allowed inside the apartment, but you may smoke at the balconies outside. Parties are not allowed Pets are not allowed Guests must respect the quiet hours and their neighbors. Please do not make noise between 15:00-17:30 and 23:00-08:00. Important!!!: Toilet paper in Greece is not dissoluble in the water as in some other countries so please don’t throw papers or any other garbage in the toilet. By doing so, drain blockage is imminent and guests will be charged for plumbing cost.

Is there a security deposit and how much is it?

The guest(s) will be held responsible for any loss or damage to the house property caused by themselves or any person for whom they are responsible. All bookings include a 150€ Damage/Security deposit which is fully refunded after check-out if no damages are found in the apartment. This deposit appears as “taxes and fees” in your booking details. In case of any damage, guests must inform the host, in order to estimate the compensation cost. Please bear in mind that if you accidentally brake for example a glass or a plate, that is no big deal and we will not charge you anything as we don’t want to be cheap on our guests. We like to think this damage/security deposit as a reminder of respect for the apartment and its contents.

What is the minimum stay required?

Is the area safe for walking at night?

Not only the area, but Ierapetra in general is quite safe. You have to be really unlucky to get into trouble. But in any case in the very rare occasion you do, since the area is mostly residential and given the Greek solidarity if you shout for help someone will run to help you.
